Peer-Guided Study Group Leaders

Peer-guided study group leaders meet weekly with the same small group of students to help them review and refine their understanding of key concepts in a particular course, collaboratively work through practice problems, and prepare effectively for quizzes and exams. The Áñ—†ÊÓƵ runs in science, math, engineering, and social science courses. 

Study Group facilitators need to Áñ—†ÊÓƵ done well in the associated course (although an A is not necessary), Áñ—†ÊÓƵ outstanding interpersonal skills, and care about helping other students.

Mentored Study Program Leaders

Peer leaders meet weekly, beginning week 2, with a limited-size group of students to help clarify student questions, support students in reviewing and refining their understanding of key concepts, collaboratively work through practice problems, prepare for quizzes and exams, and discuss effective study strategies. The Áñ—†ÊÓƵ runs in select science, math, engineering, and social science courses.

Study Group facilitators need to Áñ—†ÊÓƵ done well in the associated course (although an A is not necessary), Áñ—†ÊÓƵ outstanding interpersonal skills, and care about helping other students.

Drop-in Peer Tutors

Drop-in peer tutors staff Sunday and weeknight drop-in sessions to provide group and one-on-one help to students enrolled in particular courses. Runs in social science, science, engineering, and mathematics courses.
