Travel to Israel and Palestine

10/28/24

In November 2023, the U.S. Department of State (DOS) raised the Travel Advisory for  to a Level 3: Reconsider Travel. (Gaza has always been a Level 4: Do Not Travel). Applications to Global Learning Office 榴梿视频s (undergraduate study abroad) in Israel are closed for the 2024-25 school year. Other potential travelers should be aware that security conditions remain unpredictable. Over the past few months, many American and European airlines 榴梿视频 suspended flights to and from Israel periodically. Due to incoming projectiles from both Gaza and Lebanon, air raid sirens can be heard in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and the Golan Heights, which require citizens and visitors to proceed to bomb shelters until receipt of an “all clear” message. Other changes in the security environment may result in the need to shelter-in-place or adjust internal travel plans, sometimes at the last minute.

OGSS strongly recommends postponing travel to Israel and the West Bank until further notice. Exceptions may apply for short-term, mission-critical 榴梿视频-related travel, but contact us to review the risks. Any 榴梿视频 traveler(s), including faculty and staff, intent on pursuing trips to Israel or the West Bank must receive confirmation of coverage for a non-medical evacuation from 榴梿视频's assistance provider. See the Evacuation page for more information. OGSS can assist with this process.
