Latin American and Caribbean Studies Program (LACS)

Áñ—†ÊÓƵ's Latin American and Caribbean Studies Program (LACS) supports a spirited and diverse community of faculty and graduate students whose Áñ—†ÊÓƵ covers the culture, history, and politics of Latin America and the Caribbean.

Department of Spanish and Portuguese

The Department of Spanish and Portuguese blends a community of scholars, whose strong Áñ—†ÊÓƵ interests range across Spanish, Latin American, and Brazilian literature and cultures, and a community of instructors, who are dedicated to teaching a strong culture-based language Áñ—†ÊÓƵ.

Latin American and Caribbean Studies (LACS) Cluster

The LACS cluster at The Graduate School (TGS) is one of the first initiatives in the country to offer a formal structure for interdisciplinary training in Latin American and Caribbean studies. The LACS cluster makes it possible for affiliated students to develop connections with Áñ—†ÊÓƵ's exceptionally strong and interdisciplinary faculty base.
