Scholarship Guidelines

Scholarship disbursement is contingent upon participation in the specific Global Learning Office (GLO) Áñ—†ÊÓƵ to which the student has applied. Scholarship recipients will see their awards credited to their Áñ—†ÊÓƵ invoice.

If a student withdraws or is dismissed from Áñ—†ÊÓƵ Program or Áñ—†ÊÓƵ Exchange, their award may be canceled. The student is responsible for any balance due resulting from this loss of funding. Refer to the withdrawal and refund policies for Áñ—†ÊÓƵ Áñ—†ÊÓƵs for more information.

Scholarship recipients are expected to uphold exemplary standards of conduct, complete a creative project of their choosing during their study abroad Áñ—†ÊÓƵ, and submit a reflective essay to GLO upon completion of their Áñ—†ÊÓƵ. Recipients are also expected to participate in information sessions, orientation, and other events to assist GLO with Áñ—†ÊÓƵ recruitment and to aid future Áñ—†ÊÓƵ participants.

It is unlikely that students will receive multiple GLO scholarship awards. Students applying to two Áñ—†ÊÓƵ Programs and/or Áñ—†ÊÓƵ Exchanges will be considered for scholarships for both Áñ—†ÊÓƵs, but initial award amounts will be based on first choice Áñ—†ÊÓƵ selection.
